Sealants

It is a treatment used to close off the ridges and grooves on the chewing surface of the posterior molars with a special resin.

The objective is to reduce the areas in which bacteria can accumulate and cause cavities. It is recommended for children (who may have more difficulty cleaning their teeth), but can be useful for adults as well.

It is a quick and painless procedure and the materials used for the sealants do not contain bisphenol A (BPA-free sealant).
